Skills Training Underway

The Club’s action to improve our on green performance is well underway.
Skills Coach Tony Hockey has been working with the top divisions over recent weeks assisting them as they work through the modules.
Training for the ladies from Premium and 1 Green is Monday at 10am.
For the ladies from 2nd and 3rd division training will be held on
Thursdays from 9.30am.
All players are reminded that this is not pre-season practice, it is the opportunity to learn new skills and enhance the skills you already have.
It is also the opportunity to receive feedback from a highly respected and talented coach.
Tony is only one of two coaches in WA that hold Bowls Australia Advanced Coach accreditation.
His past history include the Inaugural Coach for the Bowls WA Academy Squad, Assistant Coach/Manager of the Women’s State team, Assistant Coach/Manager of the WA Men’s State team, and Senior Coach of the WA State Men’s team. He has also coached other clubs in WA.
In 2015 Tony was awarded the National Award, “Coach of the Year” by Bowls Australia. and has been appointed the “Train the Trainer” (Coaching) to oversee the accreditation and re-appointment of Presenter and Assessor’s within WA.
