Attached are the menus for 2020, followed by the hire information including hire charges.

There is also an application form to fill in and email back to secretary@gosnellsbc.com.au

Bar Facilities

An Extended Trading Permit may be required to serve alcohol to non-members.

If 1 in 6 people attending the function are Gosnells Bowling Club members, an Extended Trading Permit is not required.

If payment for all alcohol purchased is made by the hirer in one payment, and that person is a member, an Extended Trading Permit is not required.

 

 

Conditions of Hire

Hire Charges

Hire charges to Hall and Kitchen and other facilities are free to paid up ordinary members only after one year of service, however the payment of the bond and the bar facility price is still required.

Deposit

A deposit of $100 is required when the booking is made. The remainder is to be paid in full 7 days prior to the required date, unless prior arrangements are made.

Cancellation Fee

$100 applies if the function is cancelled less than 7 days prior to the event.

Kitchen & Catering

Hirers can arrange either their own caterers or they may negotiate with our club caterers. Note that if club caterers are used the hire costs are reduced to $150 plus bond. Numbers of guests requested will be charged for unless seven (7) days’ notice is given.

The Clubhouse

This is a Licensed Premises and alcohol may only be served over the bar. No drinks of any kind are to be brought onto the premises. Under Gosnells Bowling Club Policy any private function at the Club must cease on or before midnight.

Bar Tabs

When a private function is booked the organisation or individual must present cash in advance if a Bar Tab is required. Alternatively they may avail themselves of EFTPOS facilities if available, or present a cheque at least seven (7) days prior to the function for the amount required.

Identification

All identification and proof of age will be checked by bar staff before alcohol is served.

Security

For certain functions security must be provided by the hirer for the duration of the function and all costs met by the hirer. The Club will advise the hirer if security is required.

Bowling Greens

The bowling greens are OUT OF BOUNDS to all hirers unless previously arranged with Club Management as part of your function. No food or drink is permitted past the seats on the Clubhouse side of the synthetic greens or any area surrounding any greens.

Cleaning – General

At the completion of the function, the facilities used must be left in a clean and tidy condition and as they were found. All equipment brought into the club for the function must be removed at the end of the function. No responsibility is taken by Gosnells Bowling Club for any loss or damage to equipment left in the club.

 Smoking

Smoking is not allowed within the club premises or anywhere within the grounds. A designated “Smoking Area” is located at the South East corner of the building.

Cleaning – Clubhouse

  • Tables to be wiped clean and all tables chairs to be returned to original positions.

  • Please do not drag chairs and tables or any other equipment across any floor or carpet.

  • Floor to be swept and carpet left clean of rubbish.

  • No substances are to be placed on the dance floor.

  • Decorations may only be carried out with materials that will not damage the paintwork &  must be removed.

  • All rubbish bins must be emptied into the outside “Skip” bin.

Cleaning – Kitchen

  • Check with Convenor which tablecloths and crockery may be used.

  • All crockery and utensils used must be washed, dried and returned to their correct place.

  • All benches to be wiped clean and the floor to be swept and mopped.

  • All electrical appliances (excluding Freezers and Refrigerators) are to be left unplugged.

  • All rubbish bins must be emptied into the outside “Skip” bin.
