Ladies Celebrate Pennant Season

Last Tuesday was the final day of Ladies pennants for the season.
It was great to see so many of the ladies come back to the Club following their games to celebrate and commiserate on the season that was.
While no teams made the Tuesday finals it was a concerted effort by all to make the Club proud of the Gozzy girls.
The Saturday ladies have one more game this coming Saturday followed by the finals on 21 March.
Third division pink are currently on top of the ladder after an amazing season. Competition is tough in the top group, so best of luck this Saturday girls.
Congratulations to all the teams who put in a great effort throughout the season.
Sincere thanks to the selectors who have had a very tough year.
To our amazing Ladies captain Annette Sheridan a huge thank you for your guidance, support and firm grip on the helm.
Annette will not be nominating next season and her shoes will be hard to fill.
Thanks must also go to coach Tony Hockey who has been a great help with his training sessions and get-together.
Tony will be conducting modules during winter. More on that later.
At the wind-up Annette presented Pat Richter’s team of Lorraine Brady, Janice Nightingale and Norma Clements with their well deserved 8 badge. Well done ladies.
Enjoy the off season everyone and see you back on the greens next season!
