Take Part in the Bowls Australia Survey

Do you want to have a say on the future of lawn bowls in Australia?
Then please take part in the survey on the Bowls Australia website.
While it is focused on increasing the level of women and girls in bowls, it can be answered by anyone willing to contribute.
Below is the message from Bowls Australia:
Bowls Australia is committed to making lawn bowls a more diverse and inclusive sport. A number of national programs have recently been introduced to try and attract more participants to our network of over 1,850 clubs across Australia.
A targeted participation objective is to attract more women and girls to bowls, as they are currently under-represented in our current membership/participation profile.
A National Working Party has been created to develop a detailed strategy with recommended priority areas for practical action, which is able to be implemented by BA and STAs in partnership with Sport Australia.
The Working Party is aiming to provide a roadmap for BA to:
Increase representation of women involved in governance and leadership roles in Bowls in Australia;
Enhance accessibility, choice and pathways for women and girls to participate in sport and active recreation through bowls;
Identify ways to improve the sport’s accessibility for all, regardless of age, culture and ability.
The survey has been created to gather data and evidence and provide the Working Party with information to guide the creation of a strategy to address this important area of our sport.
Take the time to do the survey and be involved in the future of our sport.
